Who is Wendy Kaneshige?
The woman behind Petite Amore
I am an Arizona Native, a child of nature at heart.
I was in a Montessori school setting for 16 years and attained my AMI Assitants to Infancy (birth to 3 years) Diploma in 2012 at the Montessori Institute of San Diego. In 2019 I attained my AMI Primary (3-6years) Diploma from Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies here in the Valley. I then pursued my Postpartum Doula certification thorugh DONA in 2022.
Working with children in the classroom lights me up and filled up my heart with so much joy. But our work goes beyond the classroom and it begins at birth. I found my purpose in helping families-women in their home setting, through their postpartum journey. As well helping other Montessori guides prepare their environments to fit the needs of the children.
